What The North Face lists
The men’s Antora is a two-layer rain jacket. Its body fabric is a 70-denier recycled nylon ripstop (111 g/m²) built as The North Face’s DryVent 2L waterproof, breathable fabric, and the seams are sealed. Inside there is a separate lining: recycled polyester mesh in the body and a recycled polyester taffeta (75D) in the hood, sleeves and pocket bags. The water repellent is a non-PFC finish.
The hood is a three-piece attached design that cinches with a cord and cord locks. A stormflap with hook-and-loop tabs sits over the center-front zip. The hand pockets close with zips, the cuffs are elastic, and the hem adjusts with a drawcord. The North Face lists a standard (regular) fit, and REI gives a 29-inch back length.
What isn’t published
Neither the brand page nor REI gives a weight, and there is no hydrostatic head or breathability rating. Pit zips and a stuff pocket are not mentioned either, so we have not listed a vent or packing feature for this jacket. Our guides to waterproof ratings and breathability ratings explain what those numbers would add.
Who it suits
On paper, the Antora is a straightforward rain jacket for commuting, travel and easy hikes, where a fully lined jacket with zippered pockets covers the basics. Hikers who want venting or the smallest packed size may lean toward the Marmot PreCip Eco, which lists pit zips and a stuff pocket, or the Black Diamond StormLine Stretch. See the jacket comparison for side-by-side specs.
