A new site on a familiar address
The Outdooreer.com domain previously hosted a different outdoor-gear website run by other people. This is a new publication under new ownership. It isn’t affiliated with the previous operators, and none of their articles, reviews or interviews have been carried over. Where we cover the same topics, the writing is new.
What you’ll find here
- Gear overviews with spec sheets for tents, jackets and other kit. Each spec links to its source and shows when it was checked.
- Comparisons that line products up by the same specs, so differences are easy to see.
- Guides that explain ratings and trade-offs in plain language: waterproof ratings, breathability, tent seasons, and the practical side of carrying water and staying dry.
How we research
Most product pages are researched overviews: we gather specifications from manufacturers and authorized retailers, record the source for every figure, and explain what the numbers mean for real trips. We don’t claim to have tested a product unless a page is labeled hands-on review and names who used it and how. Read more on how we research.
