The Agner Durastretch Dry Full-Zip Jacket is a versatile, technical alpine climbing and mountaineering softshell that does the work of a baselayer, midlayer & weather protection shell, all in one thanks to its air-permeable fabric.

Stopping & starting to add & remove layers as conditions or activity levels change is inefficient and can be complicated when wearing a harness.
Agner Durastretch Dry represents a new way of alpine layering. It’s made of SALEWA’s next-generation rock-resistant Durastretch softshell fabric – Durastretch Dry.
This water-resistant, highly breathable, soft, stretch woven fabric is designed to be worn next to the skin, like a fast-drying base layer. It also offers high UV protection (UPF 50+).
On the inside, it is lightly brushed to provide protective warmth when temperatures drop or while belaying. The dense, double-woven construction keeps the wind out, and together with the DWR finish can withstand occasional light rainfall, doing away with the need for a windproof shell.
Yet it’s still air-permeable enough to provide all the breathability you need to prevent overheating on hard pitches. This means that alpine climbers can wear this strong and light, breathable jacket from the base of the wall all the way to the top, and stay protected from cold breezes, low temperatures, and even occasional light rainfall.
Wear it next to skin or over a wicking base layer for maximum fabric performance. Additional details include the tailored under-helmet hood and abrasion-resistant cuffs.
